THE PRICELESS GEM OF FRIENDSHIP
We met for a reason
We parted after a season
As a new season knocks on my door
I gain a new friend once more.
Some friends came and left
A loss that made me bereft
But the ones who stay
Are the ones who made me gay.
We bicker over the simplest matter
But that's what makes our friendship stronger
We talk almost everyday
Between us, there's hardly nothing to say.
Yet, once in a blue moon
We experience this magical silence
Where nobody talks too soon
Instead, we embrace this precious essence.

Embrace positivity.
Greetings!
Today's post will be about positivity. I've decided to choose this particular topic because I realise that I lack this value in me. And you must be wondering why I'm still writing about it. How ironic right?
Problems hit us in various aspects, be it your studies, career, relationships, health, etc. When you are still a student, you are worried of your exam grades. And when the exam years are finally over, you are anxious of the possibility of securing a good job that offers a lavish pay. When you finally secure a nice, warm spot in your profession, you begin to look for a partner to settle down. Then, when you've finally settled down, you tend to have arguments with your spouse occasionally over something petty like house chores, bills, kids' needs, etc. As time passes, you grow old and your health tend to deteriorate. You are afraid to burden your kids who are already financially independent grown-ups with your health needs.
So, how do we cope with all the undertakings that lie on our path? Some might opt for the easy way out, that is to shut their eyes to whatever that's happening. Basically, it's to accept those rocks that are thrown into our life and do nothing about it. Some might have the determination and perseverance to weather the stormy phase of their journey. And usually, the latter ones are what we'll call as the positive role models. They will shift the 'rocks' out of their path and move forward. That's how you grow as a person, only by being through the thick and thin, the ups and downs, you will gain invaluable lessons that will develop a strength within yourself. A strength that is so powerful, that you would never have thought it could help you to overcome the shortcomings you're facing.
In a nutshell, positivity is something which needs some time to be instilled in us. If negativity ever strikes you, please remember that 'everything will be fine in the end, if it's not, then it's not the end.' My close friend once told me something similar to this quote and I would like to share it here with you guys, 'Everything will be fine. Maybe not now but eventually.'
Jassie's cookie of inspiration for today:
Stay positive, if not always, then now. =)

Let's begin this journey towards self-inspiration!
Greetings everyone!
I'm Jassie and I've just created this new blog. The main reason is because I would like to share my insights and experiences with anyone who comes across this blog. If you have any problems or just any thoughts and you need your voice to be heard, you are at the right place. =) Pour it out here at your own convenience and I assure you that I'll try to be a good listener.
Sometimes, people do not dare to open up not because they are a coward. That's just a nonsense! Because I believe everyone, yes, I mean EVERYONE has the spark of courage within himself. You just need someone, I'll call it a catalyst, to actually ignite the spark and transform it into a bright flame!
So, my dear readers, afraid not. Jassie is here to be your catalyst if you ever need one. I always believe that if courage can be lent to anybody who needs it, I mean it literally, many of us will be out there striving for the goals which seem like unreachable dreams to us in the past instead of lamenting about their lack of confidence, courage, etc.
The first nugget of wisdom that I would like to share with you guys here:
Be an INSPIRATOR not a DEMOTIVATOR. =)
* Feel free to drop a comment. I would appreciate it if I can get some feedback to develop and improve on my blog customised to inspire people. =) Till then, see you again in next post!
